The Wembley tennis experience includes USTA teams, Interclub, daily drills, cardio tennis, lessons, and casual games, as well as a wide range of social events. We have some of the best instructors in Cleveland, offering lessons and clinics to fit both your skill level and your schedule. No matter your level of play, there are games and programs suited to everyone. We have dozens of players new to tennis, so if you are just beginning, Wembley is a great place to learn the game and have fun.

Rich Mostardi: Director of Tennis at Wembley
Director of Tennis, Rich Mostardi, is renowned for his unique accomplishments as a coach, including 11 former students who became state champions, one ranked in the Top 30 on the professional tour, and thousands of happy students of all ages who improved while enjoying their experience. Rich is known for extremely high energy, perceptive instruction, and constant communication during his lessons. Students drive from neighboring states, such as Pennsylvania and Michigan, to seek out Rich’s expertise. Wembley is extremely proud to have Rich Mostardi as the leader of our tennis program.

Robert Golsmith
Robert Golsmith is a certified PTR & USPTA Tennis Pro with 30+ years of professional teaching experience. Robert's love of the game began as a child. As a junior player, he attended the famed Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy and the Billie Jean Tennis Camp. During his college days Robert played #1 singles and #1 doubles for division III Thiel College.
In 1995 Robert was ranked in top 20 of the USTA Middle States Men's Open Singles division (PA, NJ, & DE). As a professional teaching pro, Robert was the Director of Tennis at the renowned Oakmont Country Club in Pittsburgh (8 years) and Director of Tennis of the Oakwood Club in Cleveland Heights (18 years). Robert has spent the past 3 years at CVAC and currently runs the summer tennis program at the Chagrin Valley Country Club. In 2013, Robert was honored with the Distinguished Achievement in Leadership Award by Boardroom Magazine.
Carmela Mostardi
Carmela has grown up under the teachings of her father and tennis director Rich. She was a four year varsity letter winner at Avon High School. Carmela continues her competitive play on women's 4.5 USTA teams and was ranked the top 18 & over woman in Northeastern Ohio. She has been coaching since the age of 16 alongside her dad. Carmela has also been coaching high school teams since 2015 where she has helped lead multiple players to the state tournament. In 2016, she helped her brother reach the state tournament finals. Keeping up with the Mostardi name, Carmela brings contagious high energy, a competitive spirit and positivity to the court and loves what she does. She hopes to continue coaching with her father after college and to continue to build Wembley's junior program.
